Radiation Oncology
Purchasing radiation oncology equipment is a substantial cost investment, whether it is for a large academic center, or private practice, or anywhere in-between. Besides from a large capital outlay, there are negative financial implications, such as large debt ratios as well as depreciation factors. Purchasing equipment outright also has many additional costs, including annual service and maintenance fees, which are also significant. The technology of radiation oncology equipment and software is constantly evolving and purchasing machine and software upgrades can be substantially costly.
Integrated Molecular Solutions provides a welcomed and long-needed solution to the capital expenditure (CapEx) model in the radiation oncology sector. We offer a turnkey lease model with comprehensive hardware and software service and maintenance by rolling all costs into a monthly operational expense (OpEx) model. From a financial perspective, this has the benefit of reducing debt to the entity, while eliminating depreciation variables. Our operational expense model includes equipment and software non-obsolesce, with exit possibilities at the conclusion of the lease agreement, including renewal with newer equipment, as well as a purchasing possibility. Recognizing the individual needs of our client partners, we can also offer per-use financial structures, as well as equity partnership deal models. Essentially, IMS will structure around the needs of our clients to tailor the perfect solution.
Through our vendor partners, IMS has access to the most sophisticated and innovative radiation oncology equipment including CT- and MRI- linear accelerators (LINACs), radiosurgery machines, treatment planning systems (TPS), oncology information systems (OIS), and C-Rad localization devices. For diagnostic and planning purposes, IMS can supply PET/CT units with isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals, including but not limited to FDG and PSMA.
The added benefit of having our own construction company also includes rapid and less costly build-out, with options of no-capital outlay depending again on the needs of our client partners.
